This is exactly what Shruti Haasan did, when stills from her shoot for one of her upcoming movies went viral on social media, without authorisation.
According to some reports, the pictures were shot on location when the actress had shot for a Telugu movie ‘Yevadu’
Some of these were taken from “unflattering angles”.
Pictures of Shruti Haasan’s dance song ‘Dimple Pimple’ from ‘Yevadu’ months after its release went viral on the internet.
Some particular snapshots were not approved for release
because they were shot from awkward angles and looked vulg@r.
Some insist Shruti herself leaked the snaps to ensure publicity for her new film.
Others are of the opinion that it might be the doing of the makers of Race Gurram.

Yevadu is a 2014 Indian Telugu-language action film co-written and directed by Vamsi Paidipally. The film features Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Amy Jackson, Shruti Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles, while Sai Kumar, Jayasudha and Rahul Dev play supporting roles.
The film was produced by Dil Raju under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. Vakkantham Vamsi co-wrote the film’s script with Paidipally. Devi Sri Prasad composed the film’s music, while Marthand K. Venkatesh was the film’s editor. Yevadu story was partially inspired by John Woo’s 1997 film, Face/Off, and revolves around two strangers, Satya and Charan.
