From today, it’s the beginning of the New Decade. The first decade of the new century has passed. But, before moving on to the next decade, let’s take a look at the 10 highest grossing films (Domestic Collection) in Indian cinema in the last 10 years. The shocking thing is that the list doesn’t include a single film of Bollywood Superstars Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar. The last decade has also given some new superstars to Indian cinema.

10. Dhoom 3 (2013)

Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and Vani Kapoor starrer film war, which is at number seven in the highest-grossing films, has achieved a new status of action films in Hindi cinema. For the film, Yash Raj Films hired four of the world’s biggest stunt directors and Hrithik Roshan also played a very interesting character in the film. Vaani Kapoor’s role in the film was small but very strong.

Satyaraja, who played Katappa in the film, also gained a lot of fame and the impact of Shivgami, Ramya Krishnan in the film was such that a full series is being made on her character. The film Bahubali The Conclusion, made at a cost of Rs 250 crore, did double the business.
